Portraits of Homeless People

Berlin 2024

At the invitation of Christoph Giulini, Bruère painted 85 large-scale portraits of the residents of an accomodation for homeless people between May 24 and December 5, 2024. All the paintings are acrylics on canvas and measure 200 x 150 cm.

A part of the proceeds from the sales will be donated to social projects.

Osnabrück 2022

Over the course of two days, Bruère portrayed visitors to a day center for people experiencing homelessness. The mixed-media works, measuring 50 × 70 cm, were subsequently exhibited at the hase29 art space.
